Corbie and Cheip. Auchterarder’s very own traditional delicatessen and wine bar.
We are housed in the former Gleneagles bakery on the corner of Bakers Wynd and High Street.
By day the delicatessen is open for breakfast, lunch, light bites and cakes. You can shop, dine in or take home.
Enjoy freshly brewed coffee, teas or wine with a pick n’ mix styled 'menu'… more for inspiration than to constrain you!
At night, after 5 pm, the cake display gives way to the wine bar where wine of the day can be enjoyed alongside our signature bar snacks and wholesome food.
Fresh, Local, Sustainable
Corbie and Cheip was created as a place where we could showcase the best seasonal produce from small, traditional producers.
Most of our suppliers are local to Perthshire, but we do maintain a network of specialist suppliers throughout Europe for cheeses, meats and beverages.
Elegant & Relaxed
Service is relaxed but elegant. We serve food and warm beverages in our Bone China collections with vintage cutlery and doilies. It is not uncommon to have the regulars dancing to the Fox Trott and singing along our gramaphone which comes out on special occasions!
A Place for Family
We always envisaged Corbie and Cheip as a place for the whole family - including four legged members.
Miniature shopping baskets for younger shoppers and every child gets to choose their own apple on the house, when in season.
We have space for prams and offer baby changing facilities.
Our ‘dog parking stations’ offer two safe spaces outside with a refreshment bar regularly topped up with water and perhaps the odd treat if permitted.
Dogs can join you inside at the area to the front of the shop. We now offer our very popular dog porridge cooked fresh, served warm wth a sliver of German bacon.
Wide doors and all on one level allow for easy access making us wheelchair friendly.
In short, nothing is too much – we love to help. We will carry your goods to the car if you need a hand and attempt to keep you dry from the rain…
